We have visited Santa’s Village in Jefferson, New Hampshire every summer since our children were about 3 years old. We love Santa’s Village so much! It is the perfect amusement park for families with kids up to about the age of 8-9. The rides are perfect for this age and what’s better than Christmas all summer long?!

1. Celebrate Christmas All Year Long
The candy canes are flowing and the Christmas decorations are endless. For our family, Christmas is one of the most magical times of the year. We get to experience the magic of Christmas at Santa’s Village all summer long.
2. Decorate Your Own Gingerbread Cookie
At the Sugar n’ Spice Bake Shop you can decorate your very own Gingerbread cookie. The kids love creating their very own creation.
The best part about decorating a Gingerbread cookie is eating the Gingerbread cookie. Take a look at the aftermath!
**Tip: This is a great activity when you need a break from the summer heat. It is inside an air-conditioned building and a great way to cool off and recharge.**
3. Adorable Photo Opportunities
While you are roaming around Santa’s Village and enjoying everything there is to see and do, there are some really adorable photo ops like these cute little cupcake seats. Lots of these would make a great family Christmas card photo.
4. Age Appropriate Rides
One of the best things about Santa’s Village is the rides are very appropriate for kids up to about age 9. The rides are fun with just enough thrill that little kids will love.
5. Cool off in the Ho Ho H2O Water Park
Splishing and Splashing in the water park is a great way to cool off on a hot summer day. Complete with slides and falling water, this water park can keep kids entertained for hours. There are restrooms and changing rooms nearby along with locker rentals if needed.
6. Family Traditions
Every summer when we visit Santa’s Village we take photos in front of this ” I was this tall at Santa’s Village” ruler. It’s an amazing way to see how much our children have grown throughout the years.
7. Visit Santa’s Home
Christmas just wouldn’t be Christmas without Santa Clause. An extra visit to Santa’s lap during the year is so much fun, instead of just during actual Christmastime. Santa can be found most of the time sitting in his big chair in his house, but he does occasionally walk around the park.
**Tip: lines to visit with Santa can get quite long. We have seen the shortest wait times when we have gone right when they open or before closing.**
8. Feed a Reindeer
Where else can you see a real-life reindeer?! Well, you can see AND feed a reindeer up close at Santa’s Village. Stop by Reindeer Rendezvous and for a few dollars you can pet and feed the reindeer a special treat. Learn some reindeer facts and play some barnyard games.
9. Play the Elfabet Game
Stop by Elf University and grab an Elfabet card. It is a cute and easy complimentary scavenger hunt that you can play throughout the park. Pass in your card back at Elf University and win a prize and a diploma!
10. Enjoy Some Sweet Treats
There are so many treats to choose from at Santa’s Village. From candy canes to donuts to gingerbread cookies, the options are endless. There are many places to grab lunch or dinner but a sweet treat when you visit an amusement park is a must.
