*Disclosure: We were hosted for dinner by Cioppino’s and the Wipeout Bar and Grill to supply an honest review.*
San Fransico is like heaven for foodies. There are literally endless choices for restaurants, bakeries, ice cream shops, and more. We are total foodies right here so we loved trying out new restaurants and snack locations on our recent stay in San Francisco. Check out these 6 Must Eat Restaurants in San Francisco!
1. Cioppino’s
Cioppino’s is located in the Fisherman’s Wharf area of San Francisco. This area is full of restaurants and things to do and very packed with tourists. If seafood is your thing, then this is the restaurant for you!
The decor is a typical Italian restaurant decor. Lots of red, white, and green colors. Very family-friendly and inviting.
There are lots of great options on the menu and they have great kids meal options. Cioppino’s is family-owned and named after its signature dish, Cioppino.
How could we not try a dish that a restaurant is named after?! So we ordered Cioppino and it was absolutely amazing. Delicious flavor and taste with a stunning presentation.
We also ordered the cheese tortellini, Caesar salad, and pepperoni pizza. All delicious!
Cioppino’s is definitely a Must Eat Restaurant in San Francisco.
2. Boudin Bakery Cafe
Located at Pier 39, Boudin Bakery Cafe is the place to go for the most delicious clam chowder. They serve it in a fresh bread bowl.
Can we just talk about the bread for a second? Oh my gosh, I mean I am just drooling looking at it!
Boudin Bakery Cafe is a great place to grab a quick lunch on your way to see those famous Pier 39 seals.
Boudin Bakery Cafe is another Must Eat Restaurant in San Francisco.
3. Ghirardelli Chocolate Marketplace at Ghirardelli Square
Ghirardelli’s is literally a chocolate lovers dream come true. There are multiple locations across the country. We visited the location in historic Ghirardelli Square.
Ghirardelli’s has a large menu of a variety of chocolate concoctions. You can even catch a glimpse of how this yummy chocolate is made.
We chose some delicious ice cream floats and an amazing ice cream sundae.
There is also a nice little courtyard with some games outside for the kids to let off some steam.
Ghirardelli’s is yet another Must Eat Restaurant in San Francisco.
4. Wipeout Bar and Grill
We are heading back to Pier 39 for yet another great dinner at the Wipeout Bar and Grill. There are so many fun restaurants at Pier 39.
We were totally loving the beach vibe decor and they have an extensive menu with lots of kid-friendly choices.
We did not go wrong with the tacos, pizza, and nachos. They were delicious and they were all great choices!
They also have the most delicious cheesy garlic bread at the Wipeout Bar and Grill.
Definitely, a Must Eat in San Francisco.
5. Krispy Kreme
Living in the East Coast I have never had a Krispy Kreme donut. I know, right!? Can you even believe it! I can’t believe what I have been missing out on.
First of all, from the moment I walked in. Donut Heaven!
My advice, wherever you are traveling to, if you see a Krispy Kreme you HAVE to go!
6. Johnny Foley’s Irish Pub
Johnny Foley’s is located right across from The Handlery Hotel. After a long day of sightseeing we just wanted to go somewhere close for dinner.
We just walked across the street and had a great lowkey night. The steaks were crazy delicious and the Guinness was flowing.
Johnny Foley’s Irish Pub is my last Must Eat Restaurant in San Francisco.
If you are ever vacationing in San Francisco, these 6 restaurants are definitely must eat restaurants.
