1. Captiva Island, Florida
Captiva Island is famously known for its beaches filled with miles and miles of gorgeous seashells that wash up on the shore. Grab a bucket and roam around collecting and sorting. Just don’t forget shoes to protect your feet.
2. Cape Cod, Massachusetts
Cape Cod is the place that many New Englanders flock to for their summer vacations. No matter what part of Cape Cod you visit there is always so much to do! From great shopping to amazing restaurants to fun family activities you will never run out of things to do.
3. Marco Island, Florida

4. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Myrtle Beach is famous for its fun family activities and amazing restaurants. There is fun for the whole family!
5. Maui, Hawaii
Maui is the 2nd largest of the Hawaiian islands and when I visited it was love at first sight. From the beaches to the volcanos to the lush forests, it is one breathtaking sight after another. There is so much for families to do but yet very laid back promoting a relaxing vacation.
6. Carmel, California
Carmel Village is only one square mile which makes it very accessible for families. It is filled with restaurants and cozy little shops and cottages. The white sand beach is perfect for building sandcastles and digging your toes in the sand.
7. Hilton Head Island, South Carolina
With gorgeous beaches and endless recreation options, Hilton Head Island makes a great family vacation destination. You can climb to the top of a lighthouse, go on a boat tour, and horseback riding just to name a few.
8. San Diego, California
Home of the famous Mission Beach, San Diego is an ideal family destination. The San Diego Zoo, Safari Park, and Seaworld are all great activities along with the amazing surf and sand at Mission Beach.

The saying goes “Everything is Bigger in Texas,” right? Well, South Padre definitely lives up to that with 34 amazing miles of stretches of beaches. This family-friendly destination is full of music, swimming, watersports, and family activities galore.

This beach destination is famous for its boardwalk where you can play arcade games, eat great food, and ride a carousel. If you get tired of the beach, there is even a full-blown water park.
