One of our stops on our California road trip was Carmel. It is a sleepy little beach town filled with charm. We stayed for only 1 night, but could have just stayed there for days! Check out Our Review of Hofsas House Hotel in Carmel California.

Accommodations

Our home base for the night was the Hofsas House Hotel. The hotel is a family-owned boutique style hotel and is comprised of 38 uniquely decorated rooms ranging from standard rooms to 2 room family suites. They have an onsite heated pool that is open year-round, dry saunas, and an included continental breakfast as well.

The lobby is cute and adorable and check-in is quick and painless.

The Rooms at The Hofsas House Hotel

Can I just say, our room was gigantic! We had a 2 bedroom family suite which had 2 bedrooms and bathrooms, a full kitchen and living room. The main bedroom had a king-size bed and the other bedroom has 2 twin daybeds. Perfect for families!

The balcony was definitely our favorite part of the room. There was a huge sliding door out to 2 seats with an amazing view. We even made some friends!

The Hofsas House Hotel is a great place for families to stay with lots of room to spread out. The owners were so nice and they even left us a nice little welcome gift of cheese and wine! They have a good continental breakfast with delicious pastries, coffee, and juice.

We did not have the time to enjoy the pool but it looked very inviting and of course, the kids did dip their toes in and said it was nice and warm.

Let’s Talk About the Food in Carmel CA

There are endless dining options in Carmel. From cozy little cafes to full-service dining, there is something for everyone. We were lucky enough to enjoy dinner at the Beach House Restaurant.

The Beach House Restaurant is a casual dining restaurant overlooking Lovers Point Beach. The view can not be beaten and the food is delicious.

We also grabbed a picnic lunch to enjoy at the beach on our way out of Carmel from the 5th Avenue Deli. They have lots of great choices but I think the Picnic Box Lunches are the best choice for families.

We had so much fun in Carmel California and the Hofsas House Hotel was a wonderful place to rest our heads for the night. If you visit Carmel, be sure to take the short drive to Monterey and visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.  We had a great stay in Carmel California and thanks for reading Our Review of Hofsas House Hotel in Carmel California!
