Kick up your meal this year with these Thanksgiving Sides That Will Rock Your World!

Thanksgiving Sides That Will Rock Your World

For me, the Thanksgiving meal is all about the sides. To be honest, I have so many that I love that it is hard for me to choose which sides to add to my Thanksgiving menu each year.

I am such a foodie so I like to try new recipes all the time, but thanksgiving is not really the time you want to mix things up too much. Most people like the traditional comfort food side dishes like glazed carrots and mashed potatoes for their Thanksgiving meal.

Thanksgiving Sides That Will Rock Your World

So I try to keep my Thanksgiving sides traditional with a little twist sometimes. For example, I add crispy breadcrumbs on the top of my mashed potatoes sometimes. Or I will brush my dinner rolls with some melted garlic butter for flavor. This way you have the flavors everyone is used to, but just kicked up a few notches.

Check out my spin on these traditional sides!

Garlic-Butter Dinner Rolls

These Bridgford Foods parkerhouse style rolls are the perfect addition to your Thanksgiving meal. They are the perfect addition to any meal actually. They are delicious baked as is, following the package directions. But I like to brush them with melted garlic-infused butter before baking for a kick of flavor.

These rolls are non-GMO and preservative-free. Simple and so good. They are also super yummy for leftover turkey sliders the next day too. Hello! You had me at Thanksgiving leftovers!

You can find Bridgford rolls in the freezer aisle. Check out this coupon link to save on your favorite Bridgford products.

Make-Ahead Mashed Potatoes

I’m not going to lie, I’m the kind of girl that is always trying to prep anything possible ahead of time for a holiday meal. These Make-Ahead Mashed Potatoes can be made up to 6 hours in advance and baked off for 20 minutes right before dinner.

The crunch and texture from the 4C Panko Breadcrumbs really put these mashed potatoes over the top. You could totally also use 4C Seasoned Breadcrumbs also if you prefer. Find more info about these yummy 4C Breadcrumbs and all of their products on their website and Facebook page.

Did Somebody Say Dessert?

To be totally honest, I am the kind of girl that eats the rest of the meal just so I can get to the dessert. Dessert is my jam! But I love all of the foods of Thanksgiving so much that I am usually super stuffed by the time dessert comes.

So this year I am mixing things up with this Dessert Hummus Grazing Board. And Tribe Hummus has got my back. They have the most delicious Dark Chocolate and Pumpkin Pie Hummus that is as tasty as can be. These are a great better-for-you sweet snack for both kids and adults after a big Thanksgiving meal with only 6 grams of sugar per serving.

Tribe Dark Chocolate Hummus is full of chocolate flavor and perfect for dipping strawberries. The Tribe Pumpkin Pie Hummus is the most magical blend of sweet pumpkin, cinnamon, and Fall Spices. It is the perfect seasonal sweet snack for dessert spreads at home with the family.

Both of these make the perfect centerpiece for some crunchy, salty, and sweet dipables like fruit, pretzels, and graham crackers. They are also great as a spread or topping on desserts. Oh, the things I could slather this stuff on…

Visit Tribe’s website for store locator and a $1 off coupon.

I hope I gave you some unique and flavorful ideas that everyone will love. These dishes are the comfort foods that everyone knows and loves with a little twist.
