Holidays in our house are always about entertaining. We host Friendsgiving as well as Christmas every year. The centerpiece of all of my holiday entertaining is a huge grazing board appetizer filled with all types of cheeses, meats, fruits, and of course Blue Diamond Snack Almonds. It’s a great appetizer that promotes conversation and mingling! I am going to show you How to Create the Perfect Holiday Grazing Board. I ran down to my local Walmart to cross a few things off of my holiday list today and while I was there I upgraded my holidays with some  Blue Diamond Snack Almonds to kick my Grazing Board up a notch.

How to Create the Perfect Holiday Grazing Board

It all starts with the cheese

The first thing I start with to create this luscious masterpiece is the cheese. I like to have 4 different kinds of cheese. This gives great variety and there is something that everyone will like. The basic cheese categories I usually have are a hard cheese, a semi-hard cheese, a soft cheese, and a crumbly type of cheese.

The cheeses I used in this Holiday Grazing Board are as follows:

  • Hard Cheese – Parmesano Reggiano
  • Semi-Hard Cheese – Manchego
  • Soft Cheese – Fromage
  • Crumbly Cheese – White Stilton with Cranberries

The cheese possibilities are really endless here though. Start the board with your 4 cheese choices.

Some delicious meats and nuts

Next up, add your meats and nuts. I used sweet salami, rolled up prosciutto, and pepperoni for the meat. I also like ham, peppered salami, and soppressata.

My favorite nuts to use in all of my grazing boards are Bue Diamond Snack Almonds. The fun flavor options add variety and excitement to any appetizer. And you can customize your board based on your flavor choices. I chose the Blue Diamond Snack Almonds in Sriracha and Salt & Vinegar. The roasted and seasoned flavor of Blue Diamond Snack Almonds just adds the most mouthwatering flavor to any Holiday Grazing Board.

Blue Diamond’s Classic Snack Almonds are the best way to taste the raw almond flavor. And a handful of almonds is a Heart-Healthy Food that has wonderful nutritional benefits. These almonds are certified by the American Heart Association.

Now for the extras

Now you just fill in the gaps with the extras. I added some strawberries, grapes, and raspberries. Some crackers or bread. And I always add a little something sweet. Some yummy almond chocolate chip cookies here! Add a little dazzle with some fresh rosemary and cranberries for decoration.

The holiday season is such a busy time of year for all of us that we tend to forget there are others who are less fortunate than us. I love that Blue Diamond Snack Almonds donate a portion of their sales to Toys for Tots. I can feel like I am doing a little bit of good while enjoying my holiday entertaining. It is a great way to give a little in a season where we get a lot.

There you have it, an epic Holiday Grazing Board! Head out to your local Walmart today for some Blue Diamond Snack Almonds and Upgrade Your Holidays. I promise that your guests will love it. And you can feel good about making a little difference with a part of your purchase going to Toys for Tots.
