I love, love, love Chicken Parmesan! I actually make it quite often for dinner in our house. What I do not love about Chicken Parmesan is how much work it is to make it and how much time it takes. I have a solution, Chicken Parmesan Sliders! These have all of the amazing flavors of Chicken Parmesan without all of the hard work. There are some shortcuts that I use to make them quick and easy to make. They are buttery, cheesy, saucy and delicious.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut dinner rolls lengthwise in half. Keep the rolls connected, do not separate them into individual rolls.
Place the bottom half of the rolls in a 9×13 baking dish.
Place the rotisserie chicken on the rolls. You can use the white or dark meat, whichever you prefer. This is why these sliders are so easy. Normally the chicken in chicken parmesan is breaded and fried which is time-consuming.
Top the chicken with the marinara sauce.
Spread the sauce out with a spoon so that every inch gets some saucy loveliness.
Next, comes the mozzarella cheese. I highly recommend using the fresh mozzarella here. It definitely melts better.
Place the top half of the rolls on the sandwiches.
Brush the melted butter all over the top of the sliders. If you have any leftover butter pour it into the pan around the sliders. Sprinkle the parmesan cheese and a generous amount of salt and pepper on top of the sliders. Yum!
Bake 20 minutes until golden brown and drool-worthy!
Oh, my! Slice and dig right in. There you have it, Chicken Parmesan Sliders with literally half of the work and all of the flavor.
