In case you didn’t know, we LOVE Chick-fil-A! When my kids were little we would eat there often because it is so family-friendly. I would consider Chick-fil-A fast food without the fast food taste. I am going to give you some great ways to save at Chick-fil-A so you can “Eat More Chickin.”
Annual Chick-fil-A Cow Calendar and Savings Card
The cow calendar and savings cards are the best way to keep the saving going all year long. In November, Chick-fil-A sells these and they contain some great savings. This card is loaded with a special offer or freebie for each month of the year.
You order the current month’s offer, swipe your card, and there you go, it’s free! There are all kinds of treats, everything from a free coffee to whole sandwiches. Since these cards become available around Christmas time they make great gifts too. You must have the card with you to redeem the offer. There is no way for the associates to look up your card info. Also, each offer is specific to that month so use it or lose it basically.
Cow Appreciation Day
Every year, in July, Chick-fil-A hosts the nationwide Cow Appreciation Day. You can get a free meal if you come in dressed like a cow. How awesome is that?! Just another way that Chick-fil-A shows how much they appreciate their customers.
Kids Meal Toy Trade-In
Not many people know this one, but you can trade in the kids meal toy for an ice cream. So if your kids are like mine and have way too many little toys this is a great option.
Chick-fil-A One Mobile App
With the One app, you earn points with every meal to work your way to a free treat. If you are in a hurry, you can also order ahead on the app which is a great feature for busy moms.
Local Store Promotions
Our local Chick-fil-A has many promotions of their own. Make sure you enter your email when you download the One app. My local store has promotions from time to time that includes, free birthday and anniversary treats. They also have “mobile Mondays” and “treat Thursdays” where they send out emails for free items.
My local restaurant also has many family-friendly events throughout the year. They just held an event where kids got to squeeze lemons and make their own lemonade! How adorable. Be sure to like and follow your local restaurant on Facebook so you can get the latest info on their events. Click HERE to find your local Chick-fil-A.
Other Ways to Save
As with most restaurants, getting one of the meal deals always saves money instead of purchasing each portion separately.
Keep an eye out for free treats at the bottom of your receipt. You usually have to complete a quick survey, but it’s well worth your time.
Other Click-fil-A Perks
Mom Valet
Some locations have a mom valet program. You can order on the One app and write “mom valet” in the comments. Park in front to the restaurant and they will bring your food to you. Tell me that’s not awesome! No unbuckling and buckling a bunch of kids back in the car and dragging the whole gang into the restaurant.
A-List Program
Some locations have what is called an A-list program. It is a program for Chick-fil-A’s most loyal customers. You get a card that you use at each visit to earn points. A-listers are usually invited to special events and promotions also.
Hopefully, these are some great ways to make eating out as a family a little less expensive. Happy Eating!!
Love and use most of these ideas here. I have never done the mom valet though.
The ice cream trade! We found out recently and the kids love that they can pick. So fun!
My kids love that option too!
