September 5th is National Cheese Pizza Day! What better way to celebrate than to go out for a family pizza night? The amazing folks at 1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizza so graciously hosted us for a pizza dinner night.

1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizza has over 30 locations across the country. They just had the grand opening of their very 1st restaurant in Boston, Massachusetts.

Their dough recipe comes from the Campania region of Italy and dates back over 100 years. They hand stretch the dough and use only the freshest ingredients.

When we 1st arrived at the restaurant, we were greeted by Darlene, the Assistant Manager. I have to say that Darlene is a rock star! She explained to us how everything works and was so kind and patient even with our kids who are truly indecisive and took forever to choose their toppings.

The basic concept of 1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizza is “You create it. We fire it at 1000 degrees.” You can basically build your own pizza! You can also take the guess work out of it and just choose from one of their 14 pizza combinations on the menu. This works great for families because everyone can get what they like.

There is a counter where you order. The server writes on an order ticket what you want on your pizza. They have 3 different sizes to choose from and they also have a thick crust version. We went with smalls so we could all have our own pizza with the toppings of our choice.

Then you continue down the line with your server as they assemble your pizza to your liking. There are multiple kinds of cheese, sauces, and toppings to choose from. Remember how I mentioned my indecisive kids? Well, they took 10 minutes to choose toppings because there were so many choices. Want to know what they ended up with after all that? Pepperoni pizza! Ugh, they make me crazy sometimes.

Once you build your pizza, they fire it in a 1000 degree oven. It’s super quick and only takes about 2-3 minutes to cook.

Oh my word, that looks delicious! This pizza is all mine. I went with Darlene’s recommendation so I am going to call it the “Darlene Special.” It is olive oil, fresh garlic, spinach, and broccoli smothered in mozzarella, parmesan, and asiago cheese. It is to die for!

Eric chose chicken, banana peppers, and mozzarella cheese. This is his favorite way to eat pizza.

The kids went with the basic Tony Pepperoni pizza.

They were so excited for their 1st bite.

We also tried 2 of their appetizers, cheesy bread sticks, and the fire roasted garlic and rosemary wings. Both were delicious.

We even had gelato for dessert!

Some added bonuses at 1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizza are they have USB charging ports at every table to charge your phone along with 2 AC outlets. They also have free WiFi along with Pandora and Netflix.

Everything was delicious and we all enjoyed everything we ate. 1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizza is a great fast, casual restaurant. Big shout out to them for giving us a fantastic family pizza night to celebrate National Cheese Pizza Day. Happy Eating!!
