We are a family that loves to try new restaurants. Although we visit lots of new restaurants, we have some restaurants that are truly our favorites that we visit over and over again. 15 Walnut is definitely one of our favorite restaurants and we go there quite frequently. Located in South Hamilton, about 35 minutes north of Boston, 15 Walnut is a hidden jewel in Massachusetts!

The staff is so friendly and accommodating. There is a very diverse menu from kids meals to sushi. We have never had a meal there that we didn’t enjoy, everything is so delicious.

15 Walnut is actually 1 of 10 restaurants in this local chain of the Serenitee Restaurant Group. We have actually visited 4 of these restaurants, loved them all, and can’t wait to visit the rest.

They have a little cute sign when you walk in the door that they change frequently and put all different quotes or funny little sayings.

Oh, I remember that show well! That kid had the most annoying voice ever and my kids watched that show on replay. I really don’t know what I would do if I was Caillou’s mom!

The next thing you will notice is it is an open kitchen which I love. It makes me feel like I have a part in my dinner being made for some reason. I know, I’m weird.

The first thing that your lovely server will bring you is a delicious plate of warm crusty bread with olive oil to dip it in. Anything bread related is my weakness, so this is right up my alley.

My favorite adult beverage is red wine sangria. Whenever I get an adult beverage my 1st choice is always red wine sangria, and 15 Walnut’s is amazing!

For an appetizer, we ordered nachos which is the usual appetizer we order at most dinners because it is something that we all like.

Of course, we had to only get cheese on the nachos and everything else on the side because our kids are the pickiest eaters on the planet!

For our dinner, we ordered the Day Trip Haddock which was fried to a golden crisp perfection, served with tartar sauce and 2 sides of your choice.

We also ordered the Cali Roll Sushi. My husband and daughter LOVE sushi. My son and I definitely do not share in their love affair. They said it was wonderfully full of flavor and delicious.

My son had the kids’ meal chicken fingers that were crispy and delicious.

We don’t usually order an appetizer, main course, and dessert but it was my 40th birthday so we went all out! We ordered 2 desserts and an ice cream.

The creme brulee was creamy, dreamy, and delicious!

The warm and gooey chocolate chip skillet didn’t let us down either. It was a chocolate lovers dream.

We had a wonderful family dinner and a great 40th birthday celebration.

*TIP: sign up for their serenitee rewards card, it has great benefits! You earn points every time you eat at one of their 10 restaurants to use towards free apps and main courses. The best benefit, in my opinion, is they give you a free main course and dessert every year to be used during your birthday month. WOW!*

If you are looking to venture a little bit out of Boston, you need to give 15 Walnut a try. Believe me, you won’t regret it. Happy Eating!!
